Saving Homes is a non-profit dedicated to empowering and supporting families facing foreclosure.
↳Overview
Challenge
As a startup, Saving Homes needed to establish a warm and trustworthy brand to support families facing housing crises. Beyond branding, they required a user-friendly website to connect applicants with assistance, engage donors, and build awareness to drive further support.
Solution
To evoke an emotional connection with potential donors, the brand leveraged photography and illustration to highlight the bond between parent and child. The new user-friendly website provided applicants with a seamless way to apply for foreclosure assistance while making it easy for donors to contribute to life-changing efforts. Since launch, the platform has successfully saved a dozen homes and counting.
Process
As the Art Director, I led the creative direction for Saving Homes, collaborating with an external agency to develop the brand identity. I provided strategic feedback on the logo and overall visual language, ensuring consistency and alignment with the startup’s vision. With the finalized brand in place, I designed a cohesive UI for both desktop and mobile, translating the new identity into an intuitive and visually engaging digital experience. Throughout development, I conducted regular QA reviews to ensure a pixel-perfect execution, maintaining design integrity and alignment with the intended user experience.
